Vilena Fridovskaya is an art curator and creative producer with experience leading and executing multichannel experiences in art, music, and design. Originally from Kazakhstan, she has since lived in Moscow, Brussels, and Lisbon. Her career started in the fashion and luxury industries, which provided her with invaluable insights into the power of visual storytelling and the importance of crafting unique and compelling narratives.

 

Driven by the desire to create meaningful connections between artists and audiences and by her dedication to pushing the boundaries of traditional and underground art, she founded BOA Lab (2019-2022). Under her leadership, BOA became an internationally known creative hub featuring a gallery, an artist residency, a music studio, and an events space. It quickly made its way to the pages of Vogue and Whitewall magazine. During its run, Vilena produced ten exhibitions and over 100 music-dedicated showcases, leaving an indelible mark on Lisbon's cultural landscape.
